According to ceRNA hypothesis, lncRNAs sponge miRNA to regulate gene expression. The shared DEmiRNA act as a junction have an inverse relationship with lncRNA and mRNA, that is, upregulated miRNAs accompany with downregulated lncRNAs and mRNAs, and downregulated miRNAs accompany with upregulated lncRNAs and mRNAs in the miRNA-mRNA and miRNA-lncRNA interaction pairs.

ceRNA network consisting of DElncRNA–DEmiRNA–DEmRNA was constructed based on DEmiRNA-DEmRNA and DElncRNA-DEmiRNA interactions.

The network are analysed and visualized using Cytoscape v3.9.1.
